Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Travorier mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Travorier is a crowdsourced logistics platform that connects travelers who have extra luggage space with senders who need packages delivered. Travorier acts as an intermediary platform and is not a courier, logistics provider, or delivery service. We facilitate connections between users but are not a party to the agreements made between travelers and senders.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Travorier, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Identity verification may be required before using certain features

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Transport illegal, prohibited, hazardous, or restricted items
  • Misrepresent the contents, weight, or nature of any package
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Create fake accounts, post fraudulent trips or requests, or manipulate ratings
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent platform fees or payment processes
  • Share other users' personal information outside the platform without consent

6. Prohibited Items

Users must not request or agree to carry items that are:

  • Illegal in the departure, transit, or destination country
  • Hazardous materials, explosives, firearms, or weapons
  • Drugs or controlled substances
  • Counterfeit goods or stolen property
  • Live animals
  • Perishable goods without adequate packaging
  • Items restricted by airline regulations or customs laws

Travelers are responsible for verifying package contents before accepting. Travorier is not liable for items transported between users.

7. Payments and Credits

  • All payments are processed through Razorpay. Travorier does not store payment card information.
  • Credits purchased through the platform are used to unlock traveler contact details and facilitate deliveries.
  • Payment is held in escrow and released to the traveler upon confirmed delivery via QR code scan.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@travorier.com for refund requests.
  • Travorier may charge a platform fee on transactions, which will be disclosed before payment.

8. QR Handover and Delivery Confirmation

Package pickup and delivery must be confirmed through the in-app QR code scanning system. Both the traveler and sender must scan the QR code at handover to create a timestamped, verified record. This is the official confirmation of package exchange. Failure to use the QR system may result in disputes being unresolvable.

9. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings after a completed delivery. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on genuine experiences. Travorier reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or violate these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

Travorier is a platform that connects users. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or conduct of any user. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Travorier is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of packages
  • Travorier is not liable for any disputes between travelers and senders
  • Travorier is not liable for delays, missed flights, or failed deliveries
  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Travorier in the 12 months preceding the claim

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Travorier, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Intellectual Property

The Travorier name, logo, and all related trademarks, designs, and content are the property of Travorier. You may not use, copy, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent. User-generated content (reviews, messages, photos) remains the property of the user, but by posting it you grant Travorier a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use it in connection with the Service.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. Travorier may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
